CONTACT PAGE

If anyone want to make contact, you can do so by copying this email address into your mail provider and sending it directly to me.

welshlandpirate@outlook.com

But if you actually want me to read a message make sure you put a legible sentence in the Subject bar. If you don’t I won’t even bother to open it. If you do make contact, don’t just send me an email address, or a link to a name. This makes no sense to me and I don’t bother to open it. Please say something, a sentence would be enough just to get started.

I am actually really keen to engage with other people engaging on the journey of finding land and making it their own and have actually been really dissapointed that there has been none of that. This is part of the reason I closed the site down for a period..I just simply thought…”What’s the point”. This site has been a huge amount of work, I’m freely sharing a lot of really useful knowledge and experience that have taken decades to develop, and I don’t have the slightest idea if anyone is actually benefitting from what I’ve created here

If you’ve attempted to make contact in the past and had no response, I appologise, the site has had huge amounts of rubbish being sent from Eastern Europe meaning I barely scan whatever has been sent to me, and the majority of it ends up in the spam folder anyway.

And I appologise to anyone attempting to create an account here. There were so few attempts that I decided the idea of a forum is a non starter, so if you tried, sorry.

I welcome anyone making contact, and would particularly like to hear if you think there are any omissions, improvements I could make to the site, or if you believe anything needs to be corrected.

If you have any questions, please use this facility. I will not be responding to anything via messenger unless I initiate it. I also ignore friend requests on facebook from people I don’t know. Please don’t bother. I’m happy to have a dialogue with anyone, so if you want to start there….

There are however a couple of fairly simple proviso’s …

  1. I won’t respond to any question that asks something that has already been covered on the site. If you ask a question and get no response, then I suggest you start to read more thoroughly.
  2. I won’t be helping people find land in any particular area so requests like “is there somewhere I can put a caravan near Basingstoke” will not be responded to
  3. I will consider requests for help, but if you’re asking for something that will take up my time, there will be a cost involved. I don’t think that this is unreasonable. I will probably respond to community groups differently, but that’s because I want to actively support these.
  4. If you have a question I haven’t covered then fire away. If there are gaps, or I’ve got stuff wrong, or simply if you can add something useful then please let me know. I welcome any thoughts, comments, criticism, advice etc. What I don’t take any notice of are responses from people who have read the web address, or a couple of paragraphs, and then start to make comments.
  5. Any actual examples of what people have done are especially welcome. Buying a piece of land and setting up your OPD project or garden is commendable, but probably quite linear. I want to hear about anyone who has gone down the adverse possession route, successful or not. Please share.

Let me know if you have found the site useful. It’s taken quite a lot of work to set up, so I would appreciate knowing that people have benefited from it in some way.

If you have any stories of your own journey, particularly if you have experienced adverse possession, and have successfully claimed land. I won’t share any info without permission, but your experiences could be invaluable to others.

I won’t use any contact info for any purpose. You won’t get any spam, sales pitches etc from me.
